Senior Joint Military Analyst

Location: MENA Region

Role:  Apply joint military expertise through onsite consulting assistance overseas. Provide client delivery by coordinating and providing support to combined and joint international personnel. Apply expertise in writing and briefing development and delivery, lead complex tasks, and promote teamwork by collaborating with onsite assigned personnel.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience as a U.S. military officer at the O-4 – O-6 level in one of these functional areas: logistics, acquisition and procurement, force structure development, or operations
  • 2+ years of experience assigned to a geographic combatant command (example: USCENTCOM, CCJ8), or a service component headquarters (example: Army staff, G-4)
  • 4+ years of experience at the tactical level: platoon, company, battalion, squadron, group, or wing, or as shipboard division and department head
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, and the demonstrated ability to develop senior leader-level briefings
  • Ability to provide joint expertise in one or more of the following areas: joint military doctrine development; joint planning; planning, programming, budgeting, and execution (PPBE); or acquisition program support at the action officer level.

Additional Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Joint Staff experience
  • Experience with deployments and working overseas
  • Experience working with foreign military personnel related to security assistance and security cooperation programs
  • Experience working in the MENA region a plus
  • Defense Acquisition University, Level II
  • Arabic language proficiency a plus
  • PMP
  • M.A. or M.S. degree preferred
